In an interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper that was broadcasted tonight Republican candidate for president Donald Trump berated the reporter for continuing to address polls that shed him in a negative light instead of polls showing his upper-tier status.
"I am leading across the board," Trump said in the interview. "And then you hit me with this poll that I didn't see before, where oh, gee, it's not even that kind of a poll. All i know is I have a very big group of support. And I think one of the reasons."
"Let me tell you. The people don't trust you and the people don't trust the media. And I understand why," Trump lectured Cooper.

I have no idea what the future holds. I keep saying let Trump be Trump and let’s him show us how he wants to play this out. That is it. Enjoy the ride.
I've never seen anyone like him ever. Trump is the only one that figured out that illegals and China are the 2 main problems hurting America. all the others running are instead voting for Obamatrade which empowers Obama, empowers China and allows unlimited immigration and amnesty .
I don't know why I'm surprised he is this good . I should have known as he is a great businessman like the ones who built this country Ford, Edison etc. I had lost ALL Hope. Now my only hope is that Trump wins

Cooper tries to impress Trump with all the legislation that McCain has passed for the vets. To Cooper and to a politician that is an accomplishment. To Trump that is nothing because no positive results have come out of it. The vets are still not being taken care of.
I love it when Cooper asks what Trump would do. Trump says he would fire people and Cooper does not understand that this is where you start. Firing people is a policy. It is amazing how Cooper simply cannot grasp this.
This is the main difference we are witnessing. Unless there are measurable results it is all bs for Trump.
To a politician lie McCain appearances in the absence of results is what matters. To a media guy like Cooper the same is true.
I so understood what Trump was arguing in this interview. He was saying there are no results just appearances and Cooper seemed clueless to understand this probably because of the world he lives in.

Exactly right - if you’re a republican candidate you cannot treat the media (i.e. the liberal propaganda organs) as impartial arbiters. You have to go in there and challenge all their premises and highlight their biases - put them on the defensive. They are your enemy.
Newt knew how to do it and Trump definitely does also.

I haven’t seen that to be the case.
They are reporting on what he said because it’s National news, but they’ve been giving him a fair shake, and some of the anchors have been outright defending him.
