Trump's not my candidate of choice, however calling his supporters "crazies" and "clowns" and more?

Yeah, not a good idea.

Agree with him or not, Trump is frankly giving a much needed voice to the things that are really pissing off the American People. I think Trump actually has a good reading on the pulse of everyday American's who are really sick and damn' tired (as I am..) of the Washington Political Ruling Class and their seemingly endless "we know how you should live your life better than you do" supply of regulations designed to govern each and every aspect of our lives.

The problem with the GOP-Elitist snobs is that they can't handle the truth in Trump's message, so they seek to discredit him and attack those who support him. The GOP-E does this at their own peril.

Again, not my candidate of choice (no one is thus far) but attacking his supporters -- who's votes you'll need come the General Election -- is really REALLY dumb.

You are indirectly illustrating a point I’ve been thinking about: In addition to Mr. Trump’s present support in the polls, there are probably an at least equal number of voters like you and me, who I’m quite sure the GOP-e leadership would call clowns, crazies, or hobbits.

With this, not to mention their harm to their base and the country, the GOP-e is blowing the keel right out of their ship, and handing Trump 16” shells at the same time... all the while claiming that Trump is tarnishing the Party!

Now I say this as a (past) Pub voter for almost 40 years: Some think Trump is a Dem operative “sent” to destroy the Republican Party. But, given the Pubs’ recent performance, even if Trump does destroy the Republican Party, might not that be for the best?
