Wouldn’t effect that at all. It’s just the pledge, it doesn’t actually MEAN anything legally other than once they’re done saying it they’re citizens with all the benefits and obligations (including being drafted if they’re the right age).
I find it interesting that one can raise their right hand to take an oath, even put their left hand on a Holy Bible, and what they say is not binding.
Everyone from people taking their oath of citizenship, to joining the military, to becoming President.
It means nothing.
Just the way the Left wants it.
