In that regard Russia has recovered from their collectivist/marxist fever, while we are still vectoring the disease around the world.

Russia actually still supports Communist parties and governments across the world, and, as seen in that last spy case (where everyone focused on the red-head whore), even had a journalist on the pay roll who explicitly focused on spreading anti-American, pro-Communist propaganda in a New York based Spanish news paper. This is why the CPUSA and all other Communist parties universally support Russia's action in Ukraine. In Ukraine itself, the "separatist" propaganda features banners of Lenin, Marx, Engels and Stalin. And in Russia proper, even the "Christian Orthodox" advocate totalitarianism and march with icons of... Joseph Stalin (they see him as a heroic figure who allegedly converted near the end of his life, and throughout his life got rid of the Jews and other 5th columnists).

The thing with Russia is that they are going down a National Socialist route internally as opposed to a Communistic route. They are all about the "Russian world," Russian heritage, Russian culture, and imperial ambition. IOW, from a Communist totalitarian system they simply went over to their cousins the Nazis, while, simultaneously, keeping the same propaganda as the Communists. Russia is strange like that.

“Between 1979 and 1981, John’s son J. Roderick MacArthur, a political liberal, waged a legal battle against the Foundation, wresting control of the board of directors away from conservative members. The Foundation became and remains one of the pillars of the liberal philanthropic establishment.[7][8][9][10] “

And there it is.
