Hillary Clinton is trailing three leading Republican candidates in three key swing states.

Against Bush, Clinton trails 36 percent to 41 percent in Colorado, 36 percent to 42 percent in Iowa and 39 percent to 42 percent in Virginia.

Hillary doesn’t have the advantage Barry Obama had. Everyone knows her history and background. Barry, with the help of a fawning media, was able to keep his more or less hidden

We’ve seen how she can hurt Americans, as First Lady and Sec of State.
She doesn’t have any business in any position of authority.

And a really good thing is, I think, if you’re Biden or dork Gork you may see this as a good reason to challenge the Clinton machine.

Biden or Gore would do even worse. Hillary has the advantage that even people who may not like her personally or who dislike her policies will still vote for her, just want to see the first female President (i.e. the same advantaged Obama had among the starry-eyed who wanted to see the first black President). She also has the full support of the Democratic National Committee and the rest of the party apparatus, they aren't going to change gears and suddenly support Biden. That's why the only challenger to Hillary in the double digits is Bernie Sanders, a fringe candidate who will never get much beyond 10% support, mostly coming from college campus radicals.

Having said that, the GOP's frontrunners right now aren't all that encouraging either. Topping the polls are Jeb Bush, who may as well be a Democrat, and the clownish Donald Trump who seems to say things just to keep his name in the headlines. Conservatives may very well stay home or do a third party protest vote of either of these is the nominee.

Agree. Stop Hillary is very high on my list. And I know not everyone on FreeRepublic agrees, but there are no Republicans I cannot support to stop her. They’re all better in all ways.

Gore and Biden running helps a lot. They can beat her up in ways that the media won’t do. They can hurt her among the Independents. With Sanders on her left, Webb on her right, and the other two in the race she will have to spend more, work more, run greater risks of showing how nasty she is, and end up more damaged than if she were simply coronated by her party.

The headline is meant to lend an air reality to an otherwise theatrical production known at a federal election.

She lacks a lot of other advantages Obama had, he was a tall, young, mixed race but claiming to be black man who was considered by many to be quite handsome, she is a short, squat, fat old white woman. He had a deep speaking voice, she sounds like an angry cat. He could smile and chuckle at the right point, she cackles at the wrong point. Although I never considered him “cool” millions considered him the epitome of cool, anyone who considers Hillary cool is probably not eligible to vote because they are under the care of a guardian or confined to a mental institution. In short, if the GOP can manage to lose to such a zero as Hillary Clinton it is all over but the crying.

I agree...unless it is against Jeb.

Jeb Bush on his worst day is far, far better than Hillary on her best.

Not too sure I agree with that.

Jeb is VERY Liberal on many issues.

My fear is that millions of Conservatives would stay home like they did for Romney...
