A&P just declared bankruptcy for 2nd time in 5 years
Looks permanent now - selling off some stores to other chains
and closing rest.....
That’s too bad... A&P was my reserve store... every other month 8 O’clock Coffee would go on sale, the big 3+ lb. bags were on sale 2 for 1... and I would bring all my coupons and clean them out of the whole bean dark Italian roast... and get rainchecks for the maximum amount I could. I have pictures somewhere of nearly 50 lbs. of coffee on the counter that I got for something like $2/lb.
Best coffee for the price IMHO.
