U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services is highlighting clarified guidance for those immigrants wishing to omit portions of the citizenship oath. USCIS explained Tuesday that while reciting the Oath of Allegiance is part of the naturalization process, immigrant candidates for citizenship may omit portions of the oath if they have certain religious or conscientious objections. Fortunately, Obama didn’t have to omit parts of the oath because he entered the country as a self-declared “foreign student.”
There’s nothing in that oath that should give pause to any legal immigrant wanting to become a U.S. citizen.

And, furthermore, if there is something in the oath that bothers the potential citizen, he should go back to where he came from! He does not have a right to citizenship under his terms.
