Military action could still be used to prevent Iran developing a nuclear bomb, despite the agreement struck this week, the US defence secretary has said.
Ashton Carter made the comments en route to Israel, the first leg of a tour of the Middle East.
He is seeking to ease concerns of a key ally who has been one of the most vocal critics of the nuclear deal.
But Mr Carter admitted he was "not going to change anybody's mind in Israel".

What ‘prevents the military option’ is the weenie in the White House.
So we went from having a military option to enforce the sanctions to a military option to enforce a nuclear agreement. Yippie, peace in our time!
These people will say anything, and the rest of us are supposed to pretend it means something.
The purpose of the agreement isn't to prevent Iran from getting a nuke, it is to shelter them while they develop their nukes.
It will not prevent war, it guarantees war.

Yeah he pretty much ensured that Islam and Iran have the ultimate tool of destruction and oppression. Its like giving the school bully a loaded weapon and box of live grenades. I can see Iran and her terrorist elements delivering ransom notes to the heads of nations requesting a billion dollars this week or we begin dropping nukes all over your land. This traior of a president jas exercised very poor judgment fir the U.S. and aided its enemies. I wonder how much he pocketed from this little snafu. And those in Congress who went along with it.
