Unfortunately, the museum is not open to the public. I wanted to visit a few years ago, but they said that because it’s on the base, only military personnel were allowed in for security reasons.

Then what is the point in having a museum. That’s a silly rule!

45 minutes south is Pueblo airport museum. It is a great place. There is a B-29, a B-47 and dozens of other neat planes
