Got an ex-cop senior citizen here in Florida, who decided he was the self-designated movie usher, and he instigated a violent confrontation against a much younger man.

Shortly before that, another senior citizen decided to fire his gun at another much younger man, when he was annoyed at some kids in the neighborhood, not following “the rules” on a playground.

Those are just two semi-notorious cases, in my area.
Shall I continue?

If someone’s guardian is collecting disability benefits from Social Security due to another’s legally proven cognitive mental incompetency...I don't think it's a good idea to keep the CCW current, or an FFL for exotic weapons in effect.

“If someone’s guardian is collecting disability benefits from Social Security due to another’s legally proven cognitive mental incompetency...”

But what if the recipient is a world traveller and has a family member looking after his or her finances? This isn’t just related to disability benefits as I read it. There are adequate laws to deal with mental competency as regards the ownership of firearms, this is simply another way to get the camel’s nose under the 2A tent.
