The Bible clearly states that leaders should be God fearing not confessing ones sins and asking God for forgiveness is not the sign of a God fearing man. I have sinned and I have confessed my sins to God and asked his forgivenes and ask for him to send me the strenght through the Holy Spirit to help me not to commit the sin again. To me NOT asking God for forgivenes is the same thing as saying you don’t need it. I am a PROUD Christian and I am certianly not so stiff necked that I do not when need be get down on my knees and ask for the forgiveness that only God can give.
Well Kart my friend I have great respect for you and I think on this one we will just have to agree to disagree.
My only question is why are you so hard on a guy who told his life story about growing up in the church and taking his kids to church etc? He attends regularly and the guy does not smoke or drink. I just am not getting it. I think maybe he does not feel as comfortable as you would talking about his faith in public. Maybe its as simple as that.
