If you study the impact of gun control in this incident, you realize you never want gun control.
This guy was free to kill five people and severely wound another before someone could show up with a gun and stop him.
The dead people were not allowed to be ready to defend themselves.

Most thinking individuals (this excludes Michael Bloombderg and the hoplophobes) realize that prohibiting the carrying of firearms by soldiers in military facilities is absurd.
