Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) gave Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) a Twitter smack-down on Monday after he refused to disavow fellow presidential candidate Donald Trump's criticism of Sen. John McCain's (R-Ariz.) time spent as a prisoner of war in Vietnam.
"There's something unseemly about Cruz following Trump around like a lost puppy, hoping to get his leftovers when he finally flames out," the Missouri Democrat tweeted on Monday.

She must be afraid it might work.
“Damn it, why didn’t I think of that?!” Is what I’m hearing. “Maybe he is as smart as they say he is.”
Unseemly? Certain truth to it. But the is politics and Cruz is a politician.
I assume that she is ready to vote for Bill’s dried up old skank of a wife?
I don’t think that, and there are probably a lot of others that don’t either...must be a slow newsday or you can look at it this way, the more they yell, the better Cruz and Trump look, keep it coming....
This looks like a food fight in a junior high school. The entire presidential race looks like a food fight where the most irrelevant issue consumes all the oxygen. Meanwhile those of us in the real world look at these zoo animals( prez candidates) and think that even throwing peanuts at them is too good!
Did McCaskill call on Democrats to denounce Harry Reid when he accused Romney of not paying enough taxes, or when the Obama campaign literally accused Romney of murder? Didn’t think so.
I love how Republicans are forced to make comments on other Republicans comments, but Democrats are never asked “What do you think about...?” when another Democrat says something.
It’s ok if he does that, so long as he’s true to himself and his constituents. She scrounges and begs for money every day in order to run for another election. Right now the Donald is using his own money and anyone connected to him will be found fault with.
Personally I like Cruz.

The Democrats in Missouri gave “Crazy” Claire her nickname years ago and she is still doing her best to live up to it.

why should Senator Cruz join the cacophony of anti Trump whiners ? Cruz himself has been liabled and called ‘ a crazy’ by grumpy old McCain himself .
I have little respect left for McCain , he rides his high horse side saddle . He has a sharp tongue but then ducks behind ‘ his status’ when the return fire comes in .

What’s unseemly is Hillary lying under oath about Benghazi. What’s unseemly is Hillary’s foundation taking foreign money while SOS. What’s unseemly is Hillary hiding an email server in her basement and then scrubbing it clean. I’m waiting for a Republican other than Trump to call her on it. Crickets.....
