West Long Branch, NJ The Monmouth University Poll of likely Iowa Republican caucusgoers finds Scott Walker in the lead and Donald Trump in second place. The poll did not find any significant change in support for Trump in interviews conducted after his comments about John McCains military service. The poll also found that Bobby Jindal mak es his way into the second tier of candidates, doing better in Iowa than in the national polls

Scott Walker nears 1/4 of the vote in 15 candidate field.
Cruz basically tied for 3rd. Good start so far...
Most RINO’s far down
I like the idea of Jeb Bush pulling Giuliani-type numbers in Iowa. Trump might surprise in New Hampshire, leaving SC and the SEC states open for Cruz.
While Trump concerns me a bit, he pulls support out of several candidates’ hides, unlike a good man but bad candidate like Dr. Carson, who pulls disproportionately from the most socially conservative candidates.
That’s not good.
Very early. This could still prove to be the ill-advised remark that torpedoes his campaign.
If not, there's another one coming. Count on it.
ANYBODY BUT JEB!!!
YUP
And everyone knows that winning the Iowa caucuses is absolutely essential to eventual success. Both President Huckabee and President Santorum started out with a win in Iowa.
I am not for Walker so it is bad to me. He is good on some issues and a mush on the rest.
No FIRE IN BELLY on IMMIGRATION......zzzzzzzzz
No fire in belly on many issues. He seems like a nice enough guy. I will not vote for him no matter what, not for the top job. We have had weak. We don’t need to do that again. He is strong where he wants to be strong. It is not enough for me. I’ve been down that road and been been burned.
I guarantee you if he wins the nomination we will hear endlessly from the left that he is not educated enough. Agree or disagree, it will be tiresomely repeated and just might gain traction.
If he or any other candidate I don’t want gets the nomination, I’m writing in my choice again just like I did last time.
My gut on Walker is raising a yellow flag but my brain is telling me he cannot hit a major league curve ball.
That’s well put. I agree.
Walker is a professional Politician...
and as for this Poll...someone bought them off...don’t believe it or trust it..
All Media says..”Trump will not be the candidate” They just don’t know or understand the American voter, and we are tired of Politics as usual...and we want a Leader who knows how to lead, and not be bought and paid off...
Therefore we are standing by Trump first, and Cruz second...
WAKE UP AMERICA.
Americans...look at the list of these candidates both Republican and Democrat...
They are all PROFESSIONAL POLITICIANS other than DONALD TRUMP..AND THAT IS WHERE MY SUPPORT IS AT.
Is Trump against the ethanol racket and Walker and Ben Carson for it?
as for this Poll...someone bought them off...dont believe it or trust it..
How about being pro ethanol or anti ethanol?
Is Trump against the ethanol racket and Walker/Ben Carson for it?
Both Trump and Carson have avoided direct opposition to the Renewable Fuel Standard. Carson has actually advocated using oil company taxes to subsidize fuel ethanol.
