Ted is playing politics pure and simple. There was no need to make any comment whatsoever. Especially after Cruz went to see Donald this week. Either Cruz is playing the GOPe game or maybe Donald wasn’t playing ball with Ted. Either way, it’s never a good thing to come down on (or appear to be on) the side of McCain.

Well is certainly hurt his creditability by siding with McCain. He might have scored a few points with the GOPe but his lost a lot of grass roots tea party type votes. And after his TPA flip flop he needed badly to shore up his conservative base. I think this very bad mistake finishes him this election cycle. He will be reelected here in Texas but he is going to take some heat over this.

Besides, I love how Trumpers now condemn Cruz for these comments...

While OMITTING that their guy said FOUR times that McCain is a war hero.

So, is Trump wrong on that too, then?
