If it’s your house you can come waltzing out of it armed, and be shielded against officers concerned for their own safety?

Fair enough, you and your cop buddies come "waltzing" into my house with guns showing, I light you up. I am concerned for my family's and my safety.

Explain how that is any different?

First of all, these officers did not enter this family’s home.

Second, if you have committed a felony or have had a warrant issued for you, the officers have every right to execute that warrant or enter your home to effect an arrest.

These men are charged with doing this on behalf of the justice system. Someone has to do it. It’s their assigned job.

This isn’t in violation of your rights.

Read what is presented in the article. The man exited his home with a weapon.

I would urge you to think carefully about these types of situations and spare your family the anguish of doing something they’ll all regret.
