In other words, Jeb wants Puerto Rico to become a state so that they become entitled to full bankruptcy protection and Federal bailouts, while swinging US Presidential elections even further to the Left.

No thanks, Jeb. How's this for a better idea: rather than Puerto Rican statehood, why doesn't he push for Puerto Rican independence? Then Jeb can run for President of Puerto Rico and campaign in Spanish to his heart's content.

And on his Hispanic ties, he smiled and said: 'I know about the immigrant experience because I married a beautiful girl from Mexico. My children are bicultural and bilingual.'

What a cogent argument in favor of amnesty and open borders!

I don’t know much about this issue, but am wondering if we can afford it? We are like way too far in debt!

Except that every time the issue comes up Puerto Ricans say NO! to statehood.

A third world slum with a handful of historic architecture and some nice beaches where the majority of the population is on public assistance? Yeah, let’s let them in Juan Elio Bush.

For the same reason Mrs. Bill “I sold missile-guidance technology to the ChiComs” Benghazi Clinton wants D.C. to become a state...

To give the Democrats more Representatives and Senators.

Jeb Bush reaffirms his support for Puerto Rico to become 51st state

Every few years, Puerto Rican voters get to vote on this issue.

Usually less than 5% cast their ballots for independent-nation status (think; avowed Communist, Luis Gutierrez in Chicago).

A small percentage vote for statehood, but the vast majority vote to continue the Commonwealth status.

The vote is not binding on the US, but is designed to show the will of the Puerto Rican people.

Jeb wants to shove statehood down their throats. I guess that's just his style of leadership.

The Great White Dope speaks again.
The FALN terrorists murdered innocent Americans so Puerto Rico could get its independence. Bubba Clinton pardoned FALN terrorists to help with his wife's Senate campaign. So the left wing intelligentsia supports murder in the name of Puerto Rican nationalism and Bush supports statehood in the name of multiculturalism . I wonder if he wants to pardon the FALN terrorist still in prison?

Jeb Bush is to Hispanics what Bill DiDumDum (mayor of NYC) is to ghetto blacks. Those 2 groups can do no wrong as far as these 2 imbeciles are concerned. And, they’d like their favorite groups to be launched into taking over the U.S. Jeb is definitely the loser of the litter, and has no business polluting the Presidential race. Unless they have a Loser Party. That one, he can proudly represent.
