President Barack Obamas push for a fairer justice system is literally sending him to prison.
As part of a week-long focus on inequities in the criminal justice system, Obama will meet separately Thursday with law enforcement officials and nonviolent drug offenders who are paying their debt to society at the El Reno Federal Correctional Institution, a medium-security prison for male offenders near Oklahoma City.
Hell be the first sitting president to see the inside of a federal prison, the White House said. [ ]
The goal is usually to keep people with criminal histories far away from a president, not to put a president in their midst. But, as much as it may defy logic, the controlled environment of a prison is better than many of the public venues where presidents appear, said Danny Spriggs, a former deputy director of the U.S. Secret Service, which provides the presidents security.

Are there really “non-violent” drug offenders? The Dealers carry protection and most users too.
Please lose the key....
Let me guess, Barack’s “Folsom Prison Blues”?
I doubt most students and idiot teens who like smoking joints are particularly violent. Sentencing them to prison is way over the top, and if they are caught doing it three times as in California and getting life sentences there is something seriously wrong with that.
This is another one of their cockeyed “firsts” to add to his legacy. I can barely contain my eagerness to see how the new history books will be written. First this, first that.....blah, blah, blah. Mark my words - they will write these things to cover up the tyranny and horrible job he has done as a “sitting” president. He doesn’t sit much anyway - I didn’t know you can sit while playing golf. Like most on here, it sure would be nice for him to have an extended stay, complete with shackles and all. One can dream, I suppose. Hey.........I’m one of those dreamers. Or maybe like MLK - I have a dream!
Alright, Kilpatrick was a fraudster and overall crook, but he is a non-violent white collar criminal. He certainly deserved to serve some time for his crimes, but 25 years? Come on, thats the sort of sentence a rapist should get, not a fraudster.
Obama’s job is to make a mess of the prison system as he has with the rest of the US.
Only a certain number of non-whites will be sentenced to prison in the future, as the numbers now are unfair and so they will be released, randomly unless they have the right connections to the WH.
In the future non-whites, who commit what is called a crime today, will be ignored as they are merely practicing their culture and so are free to do as they please - as long as no politician is harmed. Only a handful of unconnected non-whites will actually be tried convicted and go to prison.
There will be no limit on the number of whites imprisoned, which is only fair.
“Obamas job is to make a mess of the prison system as he has with the rest of the US.”
*****
It has less to do with making a mess of the prison system than it does increasing the black vote. Between this and scamnesty, he’s trying to permanently lock in his “legacy.”
[Overly harsh prison sentences, particularly for nonviolent drug crimes, are to blame for doubling the prison population in the past two decades, Obama said. Half a million people were behind bars in 1980, a figured that has since quadrupled to its current total of more than 2.2 million inmates.]
In 1980, with a U.S. population of 225,349,264, there was a total of 13,408,300 crimes committed in the U.S. In 2013, when the population had grown to 316,128,839, U.S. crimes totaled 9,795,658.
No matter how liberals spin it, there is a direct correlation between the number of inmates behind bars and the number of crimes committed on the street. The more scumbags locked up the less robberies, rapes, murder and break-ins in the free world.
Obama’s non-violent convicts are mostly cocaine dealers. Cocaine is a pricey narcotic. Many users are willing to commit violent acts to pay for their habit. Dealers and traffickers are generally willing to use violence to protect their products from armed thieves looking to rob them.
Toward the end of the story there is a mention of giving felons the right to vote. That’s what all this bulls__t is about.

When he gets in there I sure hope some conservative guard slams to door shut and loses the keys. IMO I see odumbo changing the rules so that all those in prison can VOTE, vote demodummie.
I also wonder exactly how "nonviolent" these inmates are. Convicting a drug dealer of having 10 pounds of cocaine isn't too difficult if he's caught with 10 pounds of cocaine in the trunk of his car. Convicting that same drug dealer for the dead body of another drug dealer is more difficult unless the dead body is in the trunk of his car. If we actually wanted to stop drug trafficking we'd go the route of Singapore and execute all drug dealers. (This would solve the problem of the high cost of incarceration, too!)
But we don't, so this fiasco will continue.
His permanently locked in legacy is the fundamental destructive change he brings to whatever he touches. Making a mess of the prison system is just a small but vital part of his systematic destruction of the country and system he so hates.
The black vote will be increased as felons who cannot vote now will be allowed to vote out of fairness, and increased again when no more than 12% of the prison population can be black by executive decree, again because it is only fair.
And drugs....for him...a fond memory of what he got away with.
Obama will go to prison for repeated crimes against the Constitution
For what he did, I think 20 would’ve been appropriate. In my opinion, he is still involved in the same kinds of “shenanigans” that got him into trouble in the first place and it wasn’t all just the “sexting” and lying.
Would somebody please lock him in, he should be in jail AS A TERRORIST!!!
More realistic..
“More realistic..”
That’s for certain, do you know where I can find reruns of “Teletubbies”? Our grandnieces used to watch that and if I recall correctly it made a lot more sense than the reality of today.
He will be looking for votes... make no mistake, the Democrats want votes for incarcerated people.
