He is weaving a web of half truths, deceptions and outright lies, he even feigned insult at the phrasing of Major Garret's question about the fate of the American hostages in Iran.

Now, he is going on with rhetorical questions about the Iranian deal since the reporters seem to have run out of questions (!).

He has set this up in the press conference so that he wins no matter what Iran does, even if they get a bomb in a few years or at the end of the agreement. The media was largely quiet and compliant. He also keeps pushing the meme that the only alternative to diplomatic talk is military force.

No, none of the reporters brought it up, but directly after the presser on CNN, Tom Cotton (R) mentioned the fact that the treaty removes the sancitions on Soleimani, and asked why.
