I have never been a fan of Ayoob but it has nothing to do with his knowledge of firearms and laws.
In this case I cannot find anything to disagree with. Maybe just a little with number 9. Sometimes you just can’t carry a large powerful gun. In that case a mediocre gun is better than no gun at all.
Yeah, 9 is a definite problem. Often times it isn’t what size caliber you have, just the fact you have a gun.
As is Carry legally. Often times there is a huge area, called gray, where you may be legal or you may not depending upon interpretation/jurisdiction/political pressure.
And yet your circumstances might force you to carry in the gray area.
I have been asked to carry in such areas; it would make my lawyer very happy. He did the asking.
I hate hard and fast rules lists like this.
