I don’t anyone will launch a nuclear first strike against Iran including Israel. Conventional attacks perhaps but even then much of it is underground. How do you know you destroyed it all. Besides Iran a great fear I have is Iran laundering nukes through terrorist orgs to deploy them on their behalf.

“why on earth would folks like Kerry be for it?”

It doesn’t matter what the content of the alleged agreement is. Kerry is ONLY concerned that HE is the one who ‘accomplished’ such. He’s a sociopath for cryin out loud! (Kerry, that is). Look at what he has done to his own face! That’s the sort of thing a ‘normal’ or ‘real’ man would do to another man who introduced his kids to drugs, or hurt his wife, but certainly NOT to one’s own face! Kerry is unfit for ANY office.

With the newly acquired billions of dollars, Iran can buy nukes before it produces its own.

HOPE FOR THE WORLD OR LICENCE TO KILL? KEY POINTS OF THE DEAL

Billions of dollars in sanctions imposed by the United States, the EU and the UN will be lifted in return for Iran agreeing long-term curbs on a nuclear programme that the West has suspected was aimed at creating a nuclear bomb

Iran retains right to conduct research into enriching uranium for 10 years, without stockpiling it

Iran will remove two-thirds of its installed centrifuges and get rid of 98 per cent of its stockpile of uranium

Iran agrees to continuation of a UN arms embargo on the country for up to five more years

Similar condition put on UN restrictions on the transfer of ballistic missile technology to Tehran

UN inspectors to press for visits to Iranian military sites as part of their monitoring duties

However, access isn’t guaranteed and could be delayed, a condition critics will say gives Tehran time to cover up any illicit activity

West says Iran had accepted a ‘snapback’ mechanism, under which some sanctions could be reinstated in 65 days if it violated the deal
_____

The “press” for visits (inspections) is the part where you also need to kiss your ass goodbye.

The logical conclusions to me are that once these Iranian nut cases get the bomb, theyll launch on Israel AND the USA - New York, WASHINGTON DC, etc... It’s suicide to our own idiot politicians! Why???

“See Bert, for all your potshots and claims I am wrong about this stuff, every single day, the ‘lesser evils’ in DC show I and other evil purists were 100% right all along.”

And it feels like crap being right about it, doesn’t it?

Completely. I would much rather myself and others had been wrong about all of it. We’d all be better off not being in this fiasco. But all I/we did was comment on reality. Anyone could have saw this idiocy if they looked. They just didn’t want to see.

Same reason they let North Korea go nuclear. They think they can manage the situation. They have managed North Korea to date, but odds get worse every day. The Mullahs will not be manageable. They think they are doing gods will.

Kerry is like all other democrats. They are loyal to their party first and foremost. Plus they know that they will never be held accountable for their actions. There will always be George Bush to blame.

The Republican-controlled Congress, (has 60 days once the agreement is in hand), is indeed likely to voice disapproval one way or another with the deal, which has been critiqued by almost all of the party’s leaders. But as with any other legislative process, there’s a catch — in nearly the same breath as he announced that a deal had been reached, US President Barack Obama vowed to veto any congressional attempt to sink it”....

When that happens, the deal’s opponents would have to enlist enough Democratic votes to overturn the presidential veto, which requires a two-thirds majority in the Senate (and the House of Representatives). In other words, the president only needs to secure 34 Democratic votes in the Senate to ensure that the deal stands; there are currently 54 Republican, 44 Democratic and two independent senators (both of whom caucus with the Democrats).

Obama’s administration will go full throttle to avoid a falling away of Democratic support during the 60-day review period.

The congressional leadership could also simply put the deal up for a vote of approval, which it would almost certainly lose. At that point, the president wold’t have anything to veto (he can’t veto a resolution that has failed), but would have to explain why he was sticking with a deal even when the voice of the people – the legislature – had clearly expressed its disapproval.

(All of this will take much time so how long can it be stalled off...and further...there's stepping blocks along the way...can Obama fulfill these even if it's in Congress without a vote? I understand not. ...Meanwhile Iran will continue it's buildup while this nation hassles over the deal no deal.)

“Kerry is like all other democrats. They are loyal to their party first and foremost. Plus they know that they will never be held accountable for their actions. There will always be George Bush to blame.”

There are way too many in Congress on both Parties loyal to only Party and donors, who they bow down to instead of our country. That is what troubles me. My primary concern is a USA that is being invaded and indebted and going to hell in a hand basket because we are stuck funding other countries by greedy incompetent partisans wanting only reelected. They put their Party and their lobbyists and donors ahead of our country and Americans.

The welfare of the USA is the only country I care about, and that should be the only country that Congress cares about if they read the Constitution. The entangling alliances always end up screwing us and making politicians rich. They import immigrants that we don’t need from countries that could care less about the USA.

If it was up to me I’d wipe our USA hands of the ME and let those who live there deal with their own neighborhood and let them deal with escalating energy prices on their own. Globalization of commodities has screwed the USA as a self sufficient country. Instead it made Wall st bankers rich. Another ME war will break us.

A web site like JT that forces all user comments to filter through Zuckerberg’s Facebook, who as we all know is a die-hard liberal, pro illegal immigrant, pro gay marriage, anti-privacy, and PRO gun control, I find disturbing as a conservative.

The movement to Facebook the world is a movement to turn us into liberal puppets. You all may think otherwise, and I respect your right to that opinion, unlike liberals that respect only PC.

At least we can show others the folly of their ways. Maybe a few will learn from it..

I’ve always been confused by all the democrats, and republicans, who support Obama’s every desire.

As for Kerry, he’s a Catholic who is pro abortion. That means he’s a fraud.
