The Marine officer who made female recruits better shots at boot camp has been relieved of her command, igniting controversy.
Military Times reports that Lt. Col. Kate Germano served only a year as the head of the 4th Recruit Training Battalion on Parris Island, S.C., before her dismissal.
She got bounced June 30 after a command investigation accused her of "toxic leadership" by berating and showing contempt for subordinates in public. The 300-page report found her to be "hostile, unprofessional and abusive " and told recruits that sexual assault was preventable, and that those who drank put themselves in a position to be assaulted.

Based on her quotes so far noted on this thread I’d say she was giving pretty good advice.

This follows on the heels of the report that every single woman washed out of the Marine Infantry Officers Training Course.(April, this year)
She probably failed the Obama vetting by refusing to agree to order her troops to fire on fellow Americans.

The top brass in the Pentagon is only interested in careers instead of country now. Check out their work now to bring in cross dressers. Anyway, successful commanders dont last in this military. Obama sees them as a threat. And he should.
Not done, if you plan to be successful as a battalion commander.
If you have an issue, or you think you have a better way to do things, convince your immediate commander, don't go over his head.
Where does it say she went around her chain of command to get her way?
Oddly enough, this morning’s New York Times.
No fair bringing in info from an outside source with giving a reference.
Nothing in the article mentioned her going outside the chain of command until she was already in trouble.
