Graham on Trump: He Came In Like A 'Wrecking Ball' By Eric Bradner, CNN July 12, 2015

(CNN)Sen. Lindsey Graham says Donald Trump is a "wrecking ball" who has put the Republican Party's future on the line with his controversial remarks about Mexican immigrants.

"I think he's hijacked the debate. I think he's a wrecking ball for the future of the Republican Party with the Hispanic community and we need to push back," Graham said in an interview with CNN's Dana Bash on "State of the Union" Sunday.

"This is a defining moment for the Republican Party. We need to reject this," he said.

Graham, if you want to “...push back...”, then just change parties. Register as a Democrat and be done with it.

Graham on Trump: He Came In Like A ‘Wrecking Ball’

And that is exactly what was needed!

I’d not vote for Trump, but what he is doing is AWESOME. He’s taking the heat bringing up this stuff, leaving the “real” conservative candidates free to mostly avoid the vitrol for exclaiming the simple truth.

How about Secretary of State for Ted Cruz,
Trey Gowdy as Attorney General,
Col. West for Secretary of War. (yes change the name back,)
Doctor Carson for Surgeon General,
Gov. Walker as Labor Secretary,
Gov. Martinez in Department of Interior.

I’ve heard more than one person mention Trumps lack of political experience.

He’s a businessman. He’s never held even one political office.

But doesn’t a successful businessman use politics and diplomacy every day to get business done and make deals?

He’s never been a politician.

So what?

The president is like the CEO of our country. What is government? It’s a business system for running the country, county, city.... That’s how I see it anyway.

Who better to turn it around than a businessman?

We’ve had career politicians running America into the ground for decades.

I think Trump should get a chance.

My first thought was that Ted Cruz is the no-brainer VP choice.
Imagine you're Ted Cruz running for President and you read this.

No Linda, I mean Lindsey, he’s just willing to say the things everybody out here financing your BS is thinking. What’s more, Trump is likely keeping us from hunting Senators and Congresspeople down in the street. We keep electing you to do one thing, and you do the opposite.

In other places, people like that are deposed - violently.

No one with any name recognition ever runs against Lindsey. And, the power the incumbency is so great. We are stuck with him. Thank you GOPe.

It only seems like a wrecking ball because the edifice was so decrepit.

Lindsey Graham says Trump hijacked the debate on immigration.

How can you hijack a clusterbuck?

It does sound weird. I meant it wouldn’t even take much of a brain to assume that Ted Cruz the VP choice; it’s so obvious. But he really isn’t. Not if the goal is to win.

With Rand Paul on the ticket with Trump, you end up with the same problem Romney had, the base not voting for 2 people closer to liberals than conservatives.

It’s not the same as the Romney problem, not at all. Trump and RandPaul both support the Constitution, neither one is afraid to campaign to those who’ve been less fortunate in life, and they’ll both speak up about things Romney avoided, like the incompetence that preceded the Benghazi attack. In a lot of ways, Trump’s message is a conservative message.

The GOPe didn’t need Trump’s help to destroy the party - they were doing a fine job all by themselves. Bless their hearts!

I guess Linda thinks that all the Illegal Invaders Vote.

Well, after Motor Voter he may be right.

Tell you what Linda, go talk to the People who lost loved ones thanks to our lenient Immigration Enforcement Policies that you have always supported.

It seems those Fathers, Mothers, Siblings and Children of the Victims of Illegal Invaders aren’t getting much Empathy form you. You save that for their Murderers.

Goodness, what a Tone Deaf Putz Linda is.

There is no need to amend the Constitution.

There is NOTHING in the US Constitution that requires BOTH parents be Citizens of the United States in order for their offspring to be considered a “Natural Born Citizen”.

Ted Cruz meets the requirement of being a Natural Born Citizen via Statutes authorized by Congress via the Constitution.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKvT6DDR-4A

Mark Levin settled the issue.

Both Marco Rubio and Bobby Jindal (whom I probably won’t vote for) are also Natural Born Citizens based on the law.
