That could be true but Trump would have one hell of a bully pulpit unconstrained by PC verbage and the backing of legal American in many quarters.
Consideration for the position of President should never be based on promises. Just ones record. My own opinion .
I’m neither pro or con on Trump.
Just want to be like most here ....try to make sure my vote is respectful of the conservative goals this republic must meet to survive.
Trump “sounds” great.....If he’s elected I pray he follows through .

Politics is a blood sport and you are correct in your assessment of most country club Pubbies - they may not understand this or may wish it were not true. The MSM also berates them if they do not play by these self imposed rules of genteelness. Trump, Cruz and DRats understand this and since Trump and Cruz are smarter than most DRats I am putting my money on Trump and Cruz. I used to think a combined ticket of Trump and Cruz would be redundant but now I think it might work.

Some of my democrat friends were supporting the socialist. FRom Vermont as an ABC vote. (Anyone but Clinton)
They are comfortable with Trump because of his celebrity status. And really don’t want again be led in the far left direction.

Go to amazon books. Type in Donald Trump in authors and buy and read a couple of his books. Too many are confusing his media/Apprentice/marketing personality with the business genius he truly is

Cruz calls it the Wasington cartel. Trump calls it stupid. Either way, those two are on the same wavelength. They recognize many of the same problems, they visualize some of the same solutions, they just express themselves differently.
I think a Trump Cruz is possible. Lots of deems could go for Cruz...blacks and legal immigrants and blue collar could go for Trump. Repubs could go for Trump and Cruz. This all brought on by the refusal of our elected politicians to do the job.
