These huge enthusiastic crowds must have the others running scared. What are they going to do?
a. tear into Trump even more than they already have (which hasn’t worked), or
b. start taking pages from his playbook, or...

None of the other candidates have been "dumping" much on Trump, Carly might light into him at the debate, which could be entertaining. She's very quick to call people on things. In fact, many will disagree, but I see Trump as a guy who is showing what draws attention, and Fiorina's the only other one with that kind of rapid-fire offense and sass.
But part of me sees Carson as the sort of anti-Donald, the "Speak-softly-and carry-a-big-stick" guy (not a concept Trump would relate to) who can be very disarming, focusing on the faulty logics of the left and relentlessly dismantling their premises with a smile on his face.
