I forced myself to watch the whole thing.
Trump is a semi-effective populist demagogue. (I say semi-effective because he’s a narcissistic, undisciplined rambler.) He certainly knows how to hit some of the hot buttons of an extremely disaffected electorate.
But anyone who mistakes him for an actual conservative is not very knowledgeable or discerning.
He let his true statist colors show today, and I quote: “We have to take care of everybody...get used to it conservatives.” He was of course speaking about socialized medicine.
“We’ve got to repeal and replace it,” he said of Obamacare. In other words, he really thinks he can do socialism better than Obama.
Sorry Donald. This conservative, and many like me, will never, ever accept the imposition of state socialism. It’s a deadly violation of the enumerated powers of our Constitution. It’s a coup d’etat. It’s the enslavement of the American people.

We had universal health care before Obama even came along.
It was the emergency room... where the government mandated under force of law that anyone that shows up gets treated..for free if need be.
He just turned a big problem into a total effing disaster.
Insurance reform, malpractice reform and a two-tier health care system are the answer. Trump is smart enough to see that.
