I am for Cruz first, and that is ideological.
I will consider Carson, and that is intellectual.
I can support Trump, and that is strategic.
I believe that all of the above actually have the best interests of the country at heart.
One thing Trump has over everyone, including Cruz, is that he supported and endorsed Obama and praised Hillary back when.
Yeah, that makes his judgment questionable but it also means he is the only one who can say, "I believed Obama, like millions of Americans, when he said 'If you like your doctor ' and that premiums would fall.. . .' Now it's clear that was a disaster."
So in the minds of some of the "independents" and even non-whacko Dems, Trump makes it ok to say "Yeah, Obama was a mistake."
