When Donald Trump described Mexican immigrants as rapists and drug smugglers last month, Latinos took to social media to express their outrage and urge businesses to sever ties with the billionaire presidential candidate.
In short order, more than 10 organizations canceled their deals with Trump, in what Latino activists are calling an unprecedented recognition of their economic clout.
Latino spending power will hit $1.5 trillion this year, up 50 percent from 2010, according to the Nielsen Co, which analyzes consumer spending trends.
At an average age of 27, the Hispanic population is a decade younger than the U.S. average and just entering the prime of its earning power, market researchers said....

By the way, I think Fox has already received marching orders to condemn and demonize Trump. Just saw an awful little interview where the guest repeated, over and over again without correction, that Trump called “all Mexicans rapists.”

That, of course, is unknowable, since most are undocumented; but if true, there would have to be many millions more than the 11 million figure that has been quoted for ten years. Of course, it is not true.
I said that because Trump was touting people who had told him they’ve destroyed their Macy’s card after Macy’s recent activities against Trump.
The Macy’s type companies are having a very hard time these days. Any adverse pressure could be the proverbial “straw”.
Don’t like the idea of you or anyone else losing a job these days.
