You are free to disagree. I have seen FReepers slobbering all over this tool as if he were the savior of this country. He's not. And he is certainly not anything near what conservatives should be looking to as the Republican nominee. He is a lifelong liberal who is saying things they like during an election cycle, nothing more.

Have you not been paying attention to the fact that being “liked” by many voters, who are not conservative, matters as much and in some cases more than their platform? Did you not see that with Obama’s election?
Nobody likes it but the fact is voters “want” star quality.....that’s the mindset today.
As for business and how it’s done....for many it’s a matter of playing as close to the lines without going over them, and if needed will generally to do that, hopeful they don’t get caught. Most don’t and when they do their connections will assure them of “protection”. Business is about connections.
If you’re in the music industry and entertainment....the pay to play game in that industry is off the scale. Most will take those risks and do.
And people wonder why I play a lot of Skyrim. To escape the idiocy in modern conservatism. When computer code makes for more intelligent discussion than most of ‘our own’, hand me a new video card.

GOPe sold out the country for good since last November, so Trump is running as a populist, outlining where the GOPe sold us. Problem is, Trump is just like them, albeit with a new twist.
Trump does little research himself. He endorsed McConnell for "speaker" of the senate.
He also got it wrong when he condemned Roberts for the Supreme Court's queer marriage decision. Roberts, of course, sided with the court's conservatives in their dissent.
And have you seen the sate of that industry? Piracy and pay to play have gutted it. It’s a subject I know very well as a musician.
Pay to play LED TO piracy. Pay to play in another guise also destroyed much of the live scene.

They might tell you to mind your own business while they enjoy the moment and see you as a Bah-Hum-Bug sort. After all what is it to you if their juices get flowing over a candidate? They know he’s not the savior of the world...maybe more like John the Baptist preparing the way aye?
I’m a Cruz supporter South 40....and believe he has yet to rise where he will in time....meanwhile why don’t you just enjoy the show as it runs....the ending is not yet clear or even in focus....they’re still coming onto the track not even at the gate yet.

I’m a Cruz supporter also. And while I am happy to see the immigration issue at the fore, I find it disturbing that so many who call themselves “conservative” would throw their support behind lifelong liberal Donald Trump.
