People began lining up at 4:45 AM for Saturday’s rally featuring lightning rod Republican presidential contender Donald Trump. Two hours before the event’s scheduled 2 PM local start time, the crowd extended around the block, and the national media had shown up in force.

It’s good that he is bringing attention to the Illegal Alien problem but he is not candidate material. Not as a Republican anyway. The Democrats are welcome to him if that is their desire.

If this does become ‘a happening’, expect attempts at dirty tricks; sending an obviously racist ‘Trump Supporter’ in full Tea Party regalia, while carrying the Confederate Flag of course, and shouting the ‘N’ word in rhyme. Sabotage of that nature. Then again, this even is unfolding so fast on it’s own, that such tactics may not be possible.

I found a picture in the socialist rag, LA Weekly, and they show a Mexican yesterday with a huge sombrero raking a pinata of the Donald into a large plastic garbage bin and everyone laughing in agreement.
I have gone to plenty of tea party events in Tucson, they had tremendous attendance. Only one in Phoenix at the civic center, not as large. So I am uplifted.

BTW the event starts at 2PM. That does not mean the Donald will walk out at 2PM. Arpaio is also expected to speak.
