Guess I’m a little confused here. From the article:
“The couple were in New Mexico on a cross-country road trip which started in Washington, D.C., and was due to finish in California.”
Uh, they left D.C. with weapons? They were going to Cali with weapons? Don’t know for sure but I don’t think Cali has any reciprocity with anybody do they? As for D.C. Well we all know the deal there on weapons. So, what’s up with that? Didn’t they say they had permits? Will they be charged in any state that doesn’t have reciprocity. Glad it turned out for the good but you know they may just run in to some over zealous prosecuter someplace.
Good questions:
On Sunday 11am to 1pm, KVOI 1030 am in the Tucson area we have an excellent expert on this topic, Charles Heller.
http://www.libertywatchradio.com/
and
http://www.stitcher.com/podcast/america-armed-free
He is an outstanding intellect and has great guests that he interviews in depths for his shows Liberty Watch and America Armed and Free.
If he does not address this incident, I plan on writing him because I had the same concerns.
“Glad it turned out for the good but you know they may just run in to some over zealous prosecuter someplace.”
New Mexico is gun friendly.
They both worked for CNN, so they have universal MSM carry permits.
Not joking.
As I said when this story first broke, it stinks to high heaven. Something is very much off. It reads like a Lifetime Movie original true story about a hit job gone wrong.
