He was surprised, not upset. He went to the memorial of the Jesuit priest who first created the image before he saw the President.

He’s also wearing the same image.

Ah...true..I would be interested to hear how capitalism should be ‘fettered’ according to the Pope and other socialists. We need a definition of ‘fettered capitalism’. Fetter means ‘hinder’,’restrain’,fetters are handcuffs and tied hands. I’m a Catholic and this Jesuit Popes politics are no surprise, never knew a Jesuit who wasn’t just like him. He’s a third world, socialist liberal who happens to be Pope,it is his core; the religion is the candy coating.

THIS Catholic considers that quote devil dung. Islam is Satan worship, plain and simple. It’s an evil death cult worshipping Lucifer and I consider EVERY Muslim evil and my enemy. So much for your generalization of Catholics.

Capitalism loosed from the restraints of morality is evil. Not sure why people are having a problem with that.

Right. Would people prefer if there were no laws against unfair business practices? If so they'd quickly change their minds if they were on the receiving end. Or would they encourage an absense of moral restraints against greed, as in the case of Farid Fata, the doctor who was giving chemotherapy to patients who didn't need it, just to make a buck? Other than satanists, who out there believes that greed and amoral anarcho-capitalism is a good thing?

Crony/state capitalism is all there is in post-Peron Argentina (which is why it’s a continuing economic basket case, especially compared with its neighbor Chile). It’s the incubator of our Bergoglio.

This gross misunderstanding of what the market is shows, among other things, how horribly provincial and unread this guy is.

What in particular do you object to regarding these statements?

I said that tongue in cheek. Just anticipating the usual reactions to excuse or justify what he said.
