I had to run down to the Kroger in Appomattox earlier. The CVS there normally has a couple of shelves of Civil War merchandise——mugs, tees, paperweights, that kind of thing.
It was gone. The woman at the checkout said they got a call from corporate telling them to remove it because some of it had the Confederate flag on it.
This is APPOMATTOX. Are they going to close down the historical site next?
