Showing your ignorance. Grand juries do not hand down “verdicts”. It decides indictments.

Basically, Grand Jury is sort of a Citizens Filter to decide who goes to trial.

Grand Juries look at raw evidence presented by the DA and decide whether or not a person charged will be indicted for the crime and then have a Trial.

Its sort of a Kangeroo Court as it does not have to only rely on sworn testimony and can consider, or reject, any evidence the DA wishes to bring to them. Only the DA presents to a Grand Jury, it does not have to be fair or impartial.
