And any of the self-respecting Black people that I know, would see through this immediately and be embarrassed for her.
It’s on a par with “they’re gonna put y’all back in chains” and “Ah ain’t noways tard”.
Just politicians being the pandering creatures that they generally are. And if Horne thinks she’s going to get Black votes for that display, she’s delusional.
(But some of the more innocent ‘bandwagoneers’ don’t seem to realize that those who forget history are in danger of repeating it...)

Politicians pander when they believe that it is to their political advantage to do so.
But sometimes, right or wrong they take principled stands. Its hard to know what is in someone’s heart.
