Every crime committed by an illegal alien, is a crime that should never have been committed on U. S. soil.

Every crime was preventable, if we only enforced the laws on the books.

Every death, rape, child molestation, robbery, gang activity..., none of it would have taken place.

Safer? The news crew covering the story got mugged. This guy should be fired now. There are so many reasons NOT to travel to San Francisco.

“In March, Saldana, the ICE director, drew heat from immigrant rights supporters after appearing at a congressional hearing to endorse efforts to rein in the sanctuary movement.

In written testimony submitted to the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, Saldana said that a significant factor affecting efforts to deport undocumented immigrants “has been the increase in state and local jurisdictions that are limiting their partnership, or wholly refusing to cooperate, with ICE immigration enforcement efforts.”

“While the reasons for this may vary, including state and local legislative restrictions and judicial findings of state and local liability, in certain circumstances we believe less cooperation may increase the risk that dangerous criminals are returned to the streets, putting the public and our officers at greater risk,” she said.

During questioning, she was asked if she would support a new federal law mandating local cooperation.

“Thank you, amen,” Saldana reportedly answered, according to media reports.

That stance quickly drew the attention of critics such the American Civil Liberties Union, which said in a blog post that Saldana’s comments “insulted all the states and localities across the country who have wisely decided to stay out of immigration enforcement.”

She quickly issued a statement saying that any such legislation would “be a highly counterproductive step and lead to more resistance and less cooperation in our overall efforts to promote public safety.”

Those politicians, and law enforcement officers responsible for San Francisco’s and California’s sanctuary policy for illegal aliens are complicit in capital murder and should be tried, convicted, sentenced and executed along with the shooter.

the SHERIFF is a convicted wife beater?

Yes indeed. It happened right before he was sworn in, and he plead guilty to various charges after being sworn in.

Dear, God. Isn’t that like the fox guarding the hen house.

I was just in San Francisco in May for a visit. Had no idea.

Liberals refuse to see common sense

They also cannot admit they're wrong about anything. Ever. Even if the absolute truth is walloping them over the head.

The “Sanctuary City” movement goes back at least to the Carter administration, and maybe before that.

Every president who allowed this travesty of justice to exist and grow is guilty of dereliction of his duties.

They each bear some responsibility for the crime and suffering resulting from allowing local jurisdictions to harbor and protect illegal aliens in violation of the law.

If a few mayors and city councilmen and women had been thrown in prison and/or found liable for monetary damages resulting from their sanctuary policies the movement would have come to an early screeching halt and countless killings, rapes and other crimes by illegals would have been avoided.

RE: 9

I remember that incident. Camilla Harris was the City's DA (now she's the State Attorney General, and in line for some other Government lordship position), at the time - and she also ignored the illegal alien aspect of this crime. I don't think she even went for the Death Penalty (actually, she never sought the Death Penalty for any of the city murderers - so this would not have been different).

“makes us safer” he said as he was coming out of one of the local bath houses in wrapped in a towel with his Mexican buddy by his side...

Wouldn’t change. He’d blame Republicans, GW Bush, white privilege, and anything else but himself and his leftist mentality.

When some of us say leftism is a mental illness, WE ARE NOT KIDDING. One aspect of that mental illness is denial of reality. Another is a complete inability to take responsibility for basically anything. (They’re related but not completely the same thing.)

These freaks that liberals eternally forgive remind me of the dinner scene from The Miracle Worker, where Helen feeds from everyone's plate, undisciplined, while her parents permit her actions to go on undisciplined.

I hope San Francisco has a large morgue.
And BTW, are there any Americans with any intelligence left in San Francisco?
