Oregon and CA used to be 100% reliably Republican. Nixon won CA in 1960, campaigning against JFK.
Now both are sure Dem. wins in a Presidential race. This is due to immigration and the new “progressive” educational system. Yet OR remained a Red state until the Clinton era. Clinton carried Oregon back in 1992 by less than 1% and carried just 5 counties clustered around Portland.
The rest of the counties voted overwhelmingly for Bush (the elder).

i do agree that we should rebrand ourselves as something other than Conservative. That name has too much baggage.

But people get to choose the name of their group. If you refuse to accept the name they choose, the you are just name-calling. That doesn’t add anything to us and it makes them look like victims...and in case you haven’t noticed, they thrive when they are looking like the victim.

But,invent a name for them and make it popular and I will go along with it. Regressive is a bad choice becuase they will turn that back on us in a heartbeat. They believe in the progress that they claim to stand for. To us, it is progress to a hellish future, but to them it is progress to utopia. And they have the media and education industry on their side.

You’re saying they understand that they need our productivity that is due to our character, values, and diligence.

I’ve talked to libs, supposedly smart ones, within the family.
They have an underlying but explainable assumption that the wealth is “just out there” for distribution,
and that White Christians are just taking more of the pot than is “fair”.

Therefore, they see no value in keeping us around as slaves, anymore than the Nazis got valuable wealth-building labor out of the Jews.

Those are naive, low-level, “useful idiot” libs . They only think they are smart,perhaps because they are educated and don’t know the difference. The Progressive “decision makers” know better.

I work in the utility industry and I’ve had dumb Progs ask me why they have to pay for water and power when it just comes out of of the faucet and the holes in the wall. These useful idiots are vote fodder today, but will be pig food after the Progs are in change and they have to create a functional economy again and collectivist economies can’t support nearly as many useless eaters as a free market can.

I can’t imagine why you think this is confusing...they refused to service the promotion of the phony ‘matrimony’, which formed the basis of their objection...

what they did not do was say to them ‘we will not service you because you are a couple of twinkies’, which for all intents and purposes they would not have known in the first place...
