After Kathryn Steinle was allegedly gunned down by illegal alien Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez on July 1, GOP presidential hopeful Donald Trump said the heinous act brought into focus once more the need to build a wall to seal our southern border. NASCAR responded to the policy proposal by cutting ties with Trump, saying it will no longer use “the Trump National Doral Miami resort for its postseason award banquets.”
Breitbart News previously reported that Sanchez had already been deported five times and had seven felonies on his record, but the immigration stance of President Obama, Governor Jerry Brown (D), California Attorney General Kamala Harris, and even San Francisco County Sheriff Ross Mirkarimi, made it possible for him to be in the country — and sadly, on San Francisco’s Pier 14 — on Wednesday when Steinle was killed.
As recently as October 2014 Sheriff Mirkarimi announced that his office would “no longer honor U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainers unless they [were] supported by judicial determination of probably cause or with a warrant of arrest….” In other words, illegals would not be detained unless they met a threshold for detainment considered sufficient by the Sheriff regardless of ICE requests.
After Steinle’s murder, Trump said enough was enough. On July 3, he said, “This senseless and totally preventable act of violence committed by an illegal immigrant is yet another example of why we must secure our border immediately.”

This Trump business is having the opposite affect on me than the MSM. Trump is gaining my respect, because he’s paying a real price for standing up for the truth. We are also getting a glimmer into just how many forces are arrayed on the open borders side. No wonder many Republican are scared to make a stand.
We still live in a country where one is free to say what one wants of course, but it’s clear the powers that be will try to destroy anyone who deviates from the uni-party line.

No doubt. But everyone on this site will blog away until our Republic is no more. There is no line in the sand. There is no protesting in the streets. There are no letter-writing campaigns. In short, The Sheeple just complain in Internet chat sites. Not a soul will actually do anything.
When there are massive protests to push back on the creeping crud, they have standing to give me heat. I have nothing but scorn for The Sheeple.

Hmmm. Looks like Trump is "smoking out" the weak willed and limp handed organizations. Or could it be that we are becoming aware of the vast left wing conspiracy?
I think it is the latter. Which NASCAR sponsors are putting pressure on the organization, we wonder? Why do they not address the substance of Trump's comments? What solutions have they to offer to prevent mayhem and murder by "catch and release" repeat illegal immigrant offenders?
Can anyone connect the dots between US policies (sanctuaries in San Francisco) and US lax border enforcement?
Or is it that NASCAR is yet another thin skinned closet leftist organization, whining and complaining about a triviality while avoiding facing the substance of the matter?
I feel the same way about pro basketball. Give each team 100 points and play the game for three minutes.
All it would take is NASCAR fans to refuse to go to one or two events, and not watch it on TV and NASCAR would repent. That would be millions in lost revenue How hard would that be. We have a bunch of lazy Republicans/Conservatives that can’t or won’t do it! How joyous it would be.
Voting for Trump might be that line in the sand.

What NASCAR just did was connect the issue of pride for ones heritage with the issue of the invasion of the US, which is destroying the US. That was dumb. Who could’ve ever dreamed that NASCAR officials would backstab their base?
