As I have already said ... I support these Christians and fully believe that a business owner has a right to refuse service to anyone.
I suppose he said it because it’s true. He seemed to be expressing the fact that he didn’t even know we had sunk that low. At no point did he suggest it had anything to do with their religious objection to participating in a homosexual celebration by baking a cake for the occasion. He never gave any indication that they would try to use ignorance of the law as a defense. So I still don’t understand why you’re making it an issue. He also said the state is punishing his children. That’s not his defense either, but he said it, just like he said this was the first he’d heard about the law. So what? these casual remarks have nothing to do with anything of importance.
