That leaves psychological & spiritual as the causes.

I never argued, “They can’t help it!” You are putting words in my mouth. Many homosexuals may not be able to help DESIRING sex with the same gender, but that doesn’t mean they can’t CHOOSE NOT TO ACT on those impulses. A married man may be attracted to women other than his wife, but that doesn’t mean he is compelled to sleep with those other women.
I don’t understand why some conservatives insist that all conservatives agree with them about what homosexuality is or what causes it. Why can’t we disagree about these things so long as we are united in opposing homosexuality’s being shoved down our throats as “normal”? I believe that homosexual inclinations are disorders, whether their causes be biological, psychological, or environmental.
Why do you care whether I think there’s a biological component to homosexuality? As long as I believe the BEHAVIOR is abnormal and immoral, why must I concur with your opinions about what homosexuality is?

Because you are trying to say that there is a biological/physical cause that triggers the mental illness. There is not.And that is simply a sip up Kool-Aid rather than a gulp and one step away from "born that way". It is the camel's nose in the tent.
There is a homosexual propaganda book called "After the Ball" and you are following one of the talking points.

The book was published in 1989 and they have used all the talking points to great affect. Even Conservatives parrot them.
From what I've read two leading causes are an overbearing mother with weak or absent father and sexual abuse.
"Chicken hawks" look for young ones that are very vulnerable.
