GOP worries about Donald Trump fallout

Washington (CNN)Republicans seeking to broaden the party's appeal to Latino voters have a challenge: Donald Trump.

The bombastic businessman, who is seeking the GOP presidential nomination, is leaving many Republicans worried about the fallout from his comments that immigrants from Latin America are "killers" and "rapists."

"Donald Trump's comments are hurtful for the cause of Republicans who want to reach out not just to Latinos but across many different ethnic barriers," said Ben Domenech, founder of The Federalist, a conservative opinion website, who co-authored a 2012 guide for Republicans on Hispanic outreach. "The problem with those comments is made worse by the fact that people will continue to confuse Trump with a Republican, which he is not, as opposed to thinking of him as an entertainer, which he is."

"I find the GOPe sleep-over at Mitts house quite amusing."

Their principal goal will be to develop a plan to kill Trump.

Agreed. Drop the Mexican rapist bit. If you are going to talk about crime tie it to the drugs illegals are bringing but it really is more of an economic than a safety issue.

Hopefully, Trump’s comments will result in other GOP presidential candidates to grow some necessary brass balls.

If that is the case, they need to be stripped of citizenship and kicked across the border with the rest of the refuse.

Well, the problem is Hispanics, more precisely illegal aliens, are by definition breaking the law. Some do so violently. Al are bad and present a clear and present danger to the U.S. People defending them are traitors and comitting treason.

Wait until the GOP-e hears about Cruz calling them part of "the Washington Cartel", a back-scratching across-the-aisle cabal of parasite politicians of both Parties and their fat cat lobbyist enablers and funders who all ignore the American People and operate only for their own benefit. Then they'll really get mad as that truth starts to sink into the American consciousness.

It is getting really, really close to pitchforks and torches time.

Who was that famous Mexican activist for migrant farm workers?
That would be Cesar Chavez.

He's broadening the party's appeal to Republicans, which is something the party itself has failed at. How about you start with your base and build outward? (Pardon the common sense.)

Thank Mark Levin. That is how I first heard about it.
Happy Independence Day FRiend.

BTW - Ralph Abernathy (Martin Luther King's successor as head of the Southern Leadership Conference) was also opposed to illegal immigration.

Democrats have been pandering to illegals for YEARS because they know that if they give illegals free healthcare, free welfare, and free food stamps, all the left asks in return is one simple thing..their vote!! 20+ million new illegal alien voters and the Democrat Party stays in power the GOP is stupid to think if they bend over and beg these illegals to vote for them they will, illegals will NEVER vote Republican

If the so-called “Hispanic leaders” are griping about what Trump said, it is because their allegiance is to Mexico and not the United States.

BINGO!!!
