The gov went after the biggies....with the pressure. When the Community Reinvestment Act and other regs kicked in, the protests and pressures weren’t focused on little banks...the focus was on the bigs.

Community Banks and Credit Unions, relatively, don’t do that many residential loans....and credit unions are covered under different regulations anyway.

nice try, you’re like oh for four here.

But do keep digging.

Well, maybe that’s what talking heads who wear squirrels for hair like folks to believe in Pottersville.

How’d it work in Bedford Falls according to George Bailey?

Anyone who denies the impact of government pressure, and pressure from the Jackson Sharpton cartel on this issue, is a blithering ignoramus.

Oh I don't deny government corruption plays a significant role in the gaming of systemic corruption.

For example - The corruption of government bought and paid for by Roland Arnall seems to have paid off significantly for some folks.

But you’re an idiot if you think it starts with business.....almost never does....almost always starts with government regulations...then the lobbying kicks in and companies have to “pay to play.”

Gov is the leviathan, not business. Almost always. Only liberals think differently.

yes, in the sense that their entire business was mortgage related.

And again, to further destroy your attempts at logic, while it’s clear the “bigs” were the main targets, that does’t mean that every single target was a big.

You are what, oh for seven now? Keep on digging dude....you have some oddball left leaning reactions. Very oddball.

that’s true, but human nature of those in the market is to avoid government....human nature of government is to grow and control. Once that control is gained, then human nature in the market is to try and connect so they can survive.

Thanks for proving my point. Oh for 8 you are now. It STARTS with gov because it cannot happen any other way.

Says the phoney talking head from Pottersvill who grins like a chimp and wears a squirrel for hair.

What was the nature of the market in Bedford Falls?

The FACT that Argent/Ameriquest was the one-time LEADER in sub-prime originations AND WAS NOT A BANK (and thus not under goverment regulation) “doesn’t f-cking matter”.

Uhuh.

Maybe not in Pottersvill.

Have you thought about trading the squirrel for a hide that doesn’t grow on a rodent?

Thomas Jefferson said "THIS IT IS THE BUSINESS OF THE STATE TO EFFECT AND ON A GENERAL PLAN"...

What impact would "EDUCATE THE COMMON PEOPLE" have on, say, the ability of PREDATORS to operate freely in their midst?
