There is a different ways to play their game.
1. Only offer a cake with a combined male and female figurine on top. Integrate the figurine into the cake such that if it is removed it destroys the cake.
2. State that deviations from this request will have a special order tooling cost.
3. If asked for a male and male figurine or a female and female figurine state that the cost associated with that request includes a $5000 tooling charge for the special figurine and 6 months advance order.
4. Destroy the tooling after each request.
I kind of like this idea, except for the implication that the baker is willing to compromise his principles for $5,000.
5. All proceeds from the cake will be donated to the Family Research Council.
