The Kurds are natural allies to the Israelis, and the latter have been quietly cultivating the relationship. It would be a huge breakthrough that if the Kurds had their own state, if they were to embrace Israel as their friend. It would be a huge snub to all those in the region who despise Kurds as much as Israelis.
Kurds are not part of the Arab world. They speak Kurdish, not Arabic.
Kurds are looking like the texans of the Middle East. They fight for a state—they should have a state. Lots of great men were Kurds like Saladin of the Crusades, who faced off against Richard Lionheart, couldn’t beat him so he made a deal!
I only hope that enough people come to their senses and put Cruz into the White House. Restore our nation. Restore our national pride. Restore our standing in the world, which has taken an absolute beating due to Odungo's fumbling in matters way above his understanding.
Well, THIS little part of the U.S. likes it.
Kurds deserve a state before the damnable Palestinians do.
I like it!
In the Iraq war, US military could walk freely without any fear in Kurdistan Iraq. In fact, for a US citizen Kurdistan areas are pretty safe. They thanked us for ridding them of Saddam. How can we not protect this ally?
They most certainly have suffered, and I’d like to see them grab as much Arab land as they can and meld it into the new Kurdistan.
>>Kurds are looking like the texans of the Middle East<<
Quite the compliment. Texans thank you.
