Who says it applies to the states? It applies to the federal government. Judicial activism has lead to “incorporation”. States, after adopting the constitution, used to have OFFICIAL RELIGIONS.

Many freepers only believe in states rights when it is convenient.

The Second Amendment was believed to apply to the States until 1830, when the Supreme Court said that it did not.

I believe you might be on to something, but what does that have to do with the phrase “Shall Not be Infringed” that is included in the Second Amendment?

Are you saying States can ignore that Phrase and institute Gun Control as they please?

I believe in States Rights when it’s apparently Inconvenient, such as the Gay Marriage Ruling last week.
