So if they condemn him will the Hispanics vote Republican? No?

Exactly! The establishment GOP will do/say ANYTHING to keep their jobs and usually that means selling out all principles the conservative members hold. The GOP has lost direction, cannot deliver a clear message of what we (used) to stand for, partly because they will do anything to keep their jobs. Until I see an honest, conservative, GOP member take charge, the GOP will not get a dime from me.

The real idiocy would be for any GOP presidential candidate to pander to illegal alien law breakers from Mexico, and piss conservatives off so they stay home for the 2016 elections. The Latinos will never vote Republican anyway so why pander to them? That's my definition of stupid right there.

Except for the Cubans most Hispanics are gonna vote dem anyway. Rubio will probably get the Cuban primary vote but won’t get the nomination, but we do need to keep them onboard if we are to win Florida. So Republicans need to come out against illegal immigration without making it a racial thing like that idiot Trump is doing.

Other than Cuban-Floridan voting for Rubio or Bush...I don’t understand this sudden thrill by national Latinos-pretending-to-be-Republican (LPTBRs). In thirty years....when exactly have they stood to vote Republican? It’d be like me hinting that I’d move to California, settle in San Francisco and vote for Pelosi if she’d favor X, Y and Z....what possibility is there that I’d ever vote for Pelosi?

"Hispanic leaders say Republican Party must condemn Trump"

..... Somebody's collective feathers have been ruffled. Since Obama was elected they have gotten used to being treated like deities. They were promised they could come out of the shadows and go strait to the voting booth to vote Democrat.

..... They are now afraid that their voting power might be compromised if a conservative takes the reigns of this country and threaten and diminish their ill gotten status and force them back into the shadows. The free ride would be over. They don't want to give up their gains.

AP is such a racist POS organization. "Hispanic leaders say..." Really?

I'd love to see them write an article starting with "Caucasian leaders say..." Just who would such leaders be, and who would have decided they speak for all caucasians?

Just shows how friggin' racist these hard left journalists at gutter organizations like AP really are, lumping all people of the same race into a monolithic group that supposedly has "leaders" that speak for an entire race, which is absolute BS.

It seems to me the only humans in the world who are NOT allowed an ethnic culture, morals or tradition are white people

The very group from the birth of civilization that accomplished the wealth, innovation, scientific and other discovery that created western civilization. What will be left when productive whites are bled dry? I suspect the elitists will have to head to the hills, to their gated secured places.

Asians are successful, for sure, but it's with different parameters than those of our more individualistic system.

WE DO NOT NEED TO KEEP THE HISPANIC VOTERS "ONBOARD"! There are plenty of assimilated hispanics and/or hispanics who aspire to individual success to win a large percentage, if there's a strong, inspiring constitutional conservative message.

I always thought one rather fair stereotype of hispanic cultures is to respect strong can-do macho men. Why would they support anyone who grovels?

This is beginning to sound like Magnificent Seven.

“Promises.... I don’t need no stinkin’ promises”

Or the Treasure of Sierra Madres.

No anglo, dem or repub is going to crack the Aztlan looney movement.

Trump didn’t tell us or them anything we all didn’t already know. So like in ancient Rome, the messenger or bearer of bad news will not fare well with the Emperor.

Through the redistribution of our wealth, we are making Mexico and other nations rise above their third world status while lowering ours. What’s not to like about this deal?

Trump, being a deal maker, knows we are getting “royally” screwed by Obama and our his administration. He say he wants to work to get a better deal for us if nominated and elected. I do not know how serious he is, but if the media is against him then that means they consider him a serious threat.

I respect the man for his abilities to work a deal that politicians and all their partisan, non-negotiable, one size fits all except them bull$hit could never achieve. And I really like to see these “politically-challenged” elites and special interests cringe and brown their pants when better solutions and ideas are presented.

I still like Cruz for his leadership, intelligence, and knowledge of the Constitution, but I like Trump for his street smarts and ability to negotiate a deal. Trump may lose a few deals but overall he has done well. It’s a long way to election time, so let’s watch and see what happens among the leading candidates.

Illegal aliens kill 25 Americans a day....murder, drunk driving, etc.

I read somewhere that 95% of the felony murder warrants in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.

Trump is right, and I hope he continues to speak out.

I don’t expect the candidates to grovel, just be a bit more nuanced in framing the issue in a more positive way, like them displacing American workers from jobs and the increased costs of social services and welfare they bring. Yammering on about them being rapists or child molesters ect isn’t helpful in winning elections. We need Texas and Florida to win the general and going out of our way (as Trump is doing) to trash their culture is gonna alienate the Cubans and whatever conservative hispanics there are in Texas.

Your comment is a joke, right?
Since when criticizing other nations is racial?

Is Mexico all one homogeneous race of people?
I once dated a Mexican girl who had pale blue eyes and beautiful blonde hair and very fair skin.

According to you, if Trump criticizes China trade policies, he is a racist who hates all oriental people? DO you realize how stupid that is?
