That's going to fall under 'likes it not' I'm afraid. The neighborhood Turks are up to do the heavy lifting on that. ,p. The Kurds are sandwiched between the Iraqis, the Turks and the Iranis. They have no friends in the area, only enemies.

They have united everyone against them, so they must be doing something right!
Actually, the Kurds have given sanctuary to the Christians and the Yezidis. If the various minority groups can put aside their differences; this may present a unique opportunity for the birth of a true nation in the Middle East. Better still if they are opposed by NATO and all the Islamic states-it will bind their confederation even more.
