Ugh. Reality is harsh—life sucks and is by no means “fair”. The sooner you come to terms with the fact that people look out for their own interests, the better off you will be. I learned this at a very young age. There are many people, decades older than I, who refuse to confront this truth. Beck is obviously one of them. Politics is a cutthroat business.
