He does not have much of a choice IMO. The man was slandered on a national level for saying the truth.
Anyone not going national in their own defense against this level of malicious slander should never be in a leadership position.
Trump is doing exactly what he should be doing without backing down. This is the reason why the politicians, MSM and others are hysterical. These people demand others roll over, deny the truth and apologize. It’s just not happening here. They’re not accustomed to this.

And Rubio just shot himself in the foot, Perry too, both coming out against Trump...neither had my attention much anyway, both have supported a “path to citizenship”.

After all, is it more expensive to enforce our laws and deport them or pay for their welfare, food stamps, education, low income housing and medical care? A one way bus ticket sounds a lot cheaper to me...
