There is not a more powerful or more potent symbol of legitimate rebellion ~at all~. That flag is respected for that purpose throughout the South, the West, the Southwest and the Midwest. Anywhere Country folks are... You have no idea what you're messing with.
Screw the PC weenies at NASCAR. I won’t watch them any more if they jump onto this anti-Freedom stuff.

Don’t be surprised if every car has a rainbow decal on it.
And telling proud rebels to not be rebellious, and to follow the overbearing rules, is not likely the smartest way to go.
They haven’t tried to take the Gadsden flag yet. But once they take the Stars and Bars then they’ll come after it. They need to be stopped now.
I saw it quite a bit when I lived in the UK. Had a late friend who was a teacher and former biker in Yorkshire who had the CF tattoo.

People don’t realize it but there is a sizable minority redneck community in the wilds of Detroit. Just the other day there was a country singer on FOX and Friends who is from Detroit. Kid Rock says that the Detroit rednecks were a big influence on him, the same with Uncle Kracker.
You’re preaching to the choir. However to ban, and/or eliminate the CF will be to pretend as if the Civil War never happened. If NASCAR doesn’t want it at their races well then, for better or worse for the vendor(NASCAR) and the buyer(the fans) it’ll be a scorched earth trade-off and nobody wins but there it is....
Fans can make up their own NASCAR flag, almost the same as the flag-that-shall-not-be-mentioned.
NASCAR is trying to avoid lawsuits. They may think their fans will not rise to their defense.

Here in Maine, which is about as far north as you can get (aside from Alaska), I saw the tail gate of a pick up painted with the Confederate flag about two or three months ago.
A number of years ago, I saw a dump truck with a huge Confederate flag decal applied to the vehicle.
NASCAR is popular here.....for now, anyway.
I had no idea the flag made it across to England. I love it.
